Fully-mobile crawler-type crusher

Fully-mobile crawler-type crushers fit the bill when material needs to be pulverised on-site straight from the excavation face and removed as part of a continuous and resource-saving process.

The mobile opencast crushers have been engineered as a modular system, consisting of the load-bearing steel substructure plus the following assemblies: crawler chassis, crusher module, apron feeder, dump hopper, discharge belt and a pivoting discharge boom, which can also be raised and lowered.

The discharge boom’s lifting functionality derives from the “boom cylinder”, whose production was entrusted to the cylinder manufacturer Montanhydraulik. With a stroke length of 2.10 m and a weight of 2,675 kg, the hydraulic cylinder can bear a static load of up to 1,900 kN. The cylinder for the feed boom also originated in our Holzwickede factory.
